How to find our Garden paradise

 

By public transport

 

From Vienna by train from Franz-Josefs-Bahnhof to Hadersdorf am Kamp, there change to the Kamptalbahn to Langenlois.


From the west with the Westbahn to St. Pölten, there change to train or bus to Langenlois
(depending on the train connection additional change in Krems necessary).


The train station is a 10 minute walk from the center,
the central bus stop for the Postbus is located directly in the center at Holzplatz.

From Langenlois we recommend to take a cab to Schiltern - Taxi Altenburger Tel 0676/94 49 421
We recommend to book the cab transfer already when planning your trip.

 

 

 

By car


Starting from Vienna via Stockerau (A22)

A22 Danube bank freeway direction Praha - S5 Stockerauer expressway direction St. Pölten/Krems
exit Fels am Wagram - B34 to Langenlois - in the traffic circle second exit direction Krems/Langenlois Zentrum 
after approx. 500 m turn right into Langenlois Mitte - approx. 1 km straight ahead on Wiener Straße - at the crossroads at Kirchenplatz
first turn right and then and then take the first street on the left to get to the "Holzplatz" - at the traffic circle, take the first exit into the Kaserngasse
turn right at the intersection and follow the road (Röhrbrunnstraße turns into Schillerstraße). Turn left at the crossroads and follow the road for
follow the road for 1,4 km (Zwettler Straße becomes Gföhler Straße) - turn right at the crossroads in the direction of Schiltern or Kittenberger Erlebnisgärten
turn onto Loistalstraße. After 4,1 km you reach the entrance of Schiltern, follow the Karglstraße for 550 m and then turn right into the Laabergstraße.

 

Starting from Vienna or from the west via St. Pölten (A1/S33)

A1 Westautobahn direction St. Pölten - at junction St. Pölten S33 Kremser Schnellstraße direction Krems - at junction Traismauer B37a direction Krems,
after the Danube bridge continue on B37 direction Zwettl/Horn - approx. 1 km after the gas station IQ turn onto B218 direction Horn/Langenlois - at the entrance
Langenlois Süd turn left - approx. 1.5 km straight ahead on Kremser Straße - at the crossing at Kirchenplatz turn left onto Holzplatz - at the traffic circle take the first exit
n Kaserngasse - turn right at the intersection and follow the course of the road (Röhrbrunnstraße turns into Schillerstraße) - turn left at the intersection
and follow the road for 1,4 km (Zwettler Straße turns into Gföhler Straße) - at the crossing turn right into Loistalstraße direction Schiltern
or Kittenberger adventure gardens.  After 4,1 km you reach the entrance of Schiltern, follow the Karglstraße for 550 m, then turn right into the Laabergstraße.

 

Starting from Horn (B34)

B34 direction Krems - at the traffic circle take the first exit direction Kamptal Str. or Gars/Kamp - after about 10 km you will see a barrage and a bridge on your right,
turn right here onto L57 - take the next left onto Gföhlerstraße - continue onto Tautendorf bei Gars - after approx. 4 km turn left to stay on Tautendorf bei Gars
after approx. 12,5 km you reach Schiltern - stay on Obere Straße for approx. 1,8 km - turn left and follow the signs

 

Starting from Zwettl (B38)

B38 and B37 direction Krems - approx. 6 km after Gföhl turn left direction Langenlois - on L55 straight ahead until Langenlois - shortly after entering the village turn left
direction Loistalstraße - after 4 km you reach the entrance to Schiltern - stay on Karglstraße - take the first right into Laabergstraße.
