A lot to experience

Want to Take a Day trip?

There are many good reasons not to leave your chalet and enjoy all the amenities of the resort. However, the surrounding area offers a lot of things to do.

It sounds unbelievable, but it's true: if you set off from the Kittenberger Chalets am Gartensee, you can reach around 100 destinations within an hour's drive! From the show brewery a few steps away to nearby Langenlois with its top vintners to the treasures of the Waldviertel and the highlights of the Wachau. And when you know that a refreshing swim in the natural lake and a barbecue evening on the chalet terrace await you after your day trip, the excursion is twice as much fun.

Kittenberger Gardens

Next to the chalets there are 50 themed gardens covering an area of more than 60.000 m², which enchant visitors with their unforgettable places and creative garden design ideas in every season from spring awakening to Advent magic. Your kids will have a lot of fun in the large adventure garden and with our animals: alpacas, goats, ponys and kangaroos.
